Join one of our retailer tele-SWAP groups

As an independent retailer you face unique challenges. One of these challenges is having no one to talk to about issues or concerns that come up in your store. You may have a new idea you'd like to try but would like some input from others before you go forward with it.

DON’T STRUGGLE ON YOUR OWN WHEN YOU CAN GET HELP FROM OTHERS !

You do not have to struggle alone to solve all your store’s problems. All retail stores have similar problems and many have had, and solved, the problems you are facing right now. By being part of the Tele-group, you can save time and money, and increase your bottom line.

There are a number of advantages to being part of a Tele-SWAP Group:

1. Get valuable input from your peers.
2. Save money since there is no travel time or expense.
3. Reasonable cost - - much cheaper than joining a regular SWAP Group – or hiring a consultant.
4. Enjoy a sense of connection with others who are interested in your store’s success.

“What has been your most successful line thus far this season? Most disappointing?”

This service is a once-monthly teleconference call that is a combination of group discussion and coaching. The group has 6-8 members with all members operating similar but non-competing, businesses. This makes the information more relevant for those in the group since you are meeting with others with the same or similar merchandise and type of store operation.  For example, although menswear retailers and dance retailers both own retail stores, their needs and challenges are very different. Also, a single store operation has different issues than a 5-store chain.

As stated before, the stores must be non-competing.  Therefore, you need not be concerned with being on a call with a competitor. You can be open with your ideas and opinions. This is critical to the success of the group.

HOW DO THE MONTHLY SESSIONS WORK?

During the week prior to the scheduled teleconference call, an email will be sent to all members reminding them of the upcoming call and asking if anyone has a question, problem or issue they would like the other members to think about.  The day before the call you will get another email with any questions or problems that have been submitted ahead of time plus all the information you will need to connect to the teleconference service we use.  During the teleconference everyone will have an opportunity to give their opinion or suggestions concerning this issue for this retailer. Also, everyone will get an opportunity to present their question, problem or issue to the group and get input. .

HOW DO I JOIN?

To be a part of this you must first complete the Questionnaire / Application form and send it in. I will then match you up with other retailers based on location, and similarities. After that I will contact you with the details and mail you a participation agreement to sign and return along with your payment.

The cost is very reasonable – less than the price of a cup a coffee a day - at $30 per month payable in in 6-month increments of $180.
